THE PROCESS

Every shoot starts out with a Shoot Questionnaire to help us plan your shoot and get inspired! You’ll tell me all about the goals for your business, your brand colors and vibe, and your vision for the shoot. If you like to gather inspiration on Pinterest, even better! As we get inspired, I create a shot list and mood board customized for your shoot! These are great references for us on shoot day!session.
THE WHAT
As we spend some time getting inspired and making a plan for the shoot, I will also send along some info to prepare you for shoot day! I’ll be sharing some essential blog posts on what to bring and what to wear I know getting your photo taken can be scary, but I promise you’ll show up on shoot day ready to rock!
THE WHERE
There are so many location options for your branding shoot (both outside and inside).
Try to find a location that reflects the essence and aesthetics of you and your brand. Of course, if your business has a physical location that your clients go to, then I would suggest we do at least part of your shoot there. This will help potential customers to get a feel for the vibe of your business and it also helps make them more comfortable when they visit you.
Other options you can consider are famous landmarks, your home, cafes, air bnbs, hotels, urban spaces, or natural landscapes. Renting a studio is also an option. We can chat more about your options for your brand.
THE SESSION
It’s really important to make sure that everyone who’s going to be part of the shoot is readily available. There’s nothing more likely to slow the project down than people not being ready when you need them.
By planning the day in advance, it will be much easier to keep everyone on track. And by the end of the shoot, you will have a fantastic bank of brand photos for your brand.
I will guide and coach you through your photo session every step of the way. I will let you know which outfit to pop on next, and take you through posing and expressions for every shot. My clients always tell me they really appreciate that they aren’t left to their own devices in front of the camera. They say that they thought they’d feel awkward or self-conscious, and they felt so surprised they actually had fun and enjoyed it!
THE AFTER
From there, I creatively edit each of your images with some light retouching (let me know if there’s anything in particular you want retouched).
Each image is carefully crafted, so this process takes about 2-3 weeks. Your images will live in a gorgeous online gallery that you can download (please download these within 6 weeks).
