Christina and Angus’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that when you plan a wedding on private property, you truly have the freedom to design an unforgettable experience from the ground up. Hosted completely at a friend’s beautiful country home, their day traded rigid timelines for a relaxed atmosphere focused entirely on celebrating with their favorite people and their gorgeous golden retriever.

As a North Canterbury wedding photographer, the absolute highlight of the day was their incredible portrait session. Instead of staying grounded, we boarded a helicopter and flew up to the vast, breathtaking landscapes of Mt White for their couples portraits. 

Back down on the lawn, the party was nothing short of spectacular. The reception took place under a jaw-dropping clear marquee provided by the exceptional team at Loula Hire. Guests spent a sun-drenched afternoon mingling in the courtyard, cheering over an elegant champagne tower pour, and dancing late into the evening. It was an honor to document such an incredible, laughter-filled day!
